　　弗兰克·罗瑟（1910~1969） 美国著名编剧、作曲，1950年获奥斯卡最佳原创电影歌曲奖，1962年获普利策剧本奖，1951年和1962年有两部音乐剧分别获得最佳托尼奖。二战期间，罗瑟在部队服役，为海军和空军都写过歌曲，一位朋友建议他为陆军也写一首，他就挑了个响亮的英雄名字罗杰·扬（美国陆军一等兵，他所属的班被日军机枪阵地的火力压制时，独自对机枪阵地发动攻击，最后虽然摧毁了机枪阵地，但是其间中弹三次，最后阵亡。由于罗杰·扬的勇敢行动，解救了战友从不可能的情况下安全撤离。他在死后，被追授荣誉勋章。）
